Weekly group rehearsals and countless hours of individual practice to further develop musical skills is just part of the rewarding benefits of being in a musical group. Socialization, fun, personal growth, mentorship, advocacy, and mental health stand out from a long list of reasons why long-lasting friendships naturally form by being part of a band. If you have a musical gift of playing an instrument, the NB Band Association encourages you to get involved in your community ensembles.
