NBBA Video Contest: "Why I LOVE Band"
The NB Band Association invites ALL youth and adult band enthusiasts to create a short and fun video of about 30-45 seconds highlighting why you love band. Deadline for video submissions will be June 8, 2020 to be eligible for the prize draws.
Contest Entries welcome from: band students, band parents, grandparents, band directors, community band musicians... if you LOVE Band - you are welcome to enter the contest!
Help us convince other students ... and parents... to consider band! Those of us already involved in band KNOW what we love about it. Use your video clip to show your enthusiasm for band, for your band instrument, for the friends you make and so much more.
We want everyone to have the opportunity to experience all of the benefits band has to offer!
Here are some questions you might want to consider while making your video which can be funny, factual, or heartfelt:
1. Why did you join band?
2. What do you love the most about band?
3. Why did you choose your instrument?
4. What would you say to encourage others to join band?
The NBBA will host the best of these clips on our website. You can then send current and prospective band members to look at and listen to some of the many reasons why being in band is such a meaningful activity in New Brunswick. The success of this effort is dependent on us receiving MANY submissions quickly. Please reach out TODAY to invite your strongest supporters to share their passion for band programs with our band community.
Did we mention that Long & McQuade will be donating some MUSICAL PRIZES? Thanks to the support of Long & McQuade, we have several prizes to offer participants through draws to be held shortly after the deadline.
Contest Entries close at 11:59 pm on Monday June 8, 2020. Videos should be original creations. Videos become property of NBBA that can be shared or used/shared for future promotional purposes.
