A. Individual Member ($50)
-Is open to all individuals who follow the NBBA By-Laws. This membership is a voting membership.
B. Individual Senior Member ($30)
-Is open to all individuals that are 55 years of age or older. This membership is a voting membership.
C. * NBMEA Collaborative Member ($10 for NBBA add-on)
-Is open to current and retired NB school teachers who are full members of the NB Music Educators Association. Exact details are still being worked out among the 3 associations. This membership is a non-voting membership.
D. Post-Secondary Student Member (FREE if attending an NBBA-Registered Institution)
-Is open and FREE to all post-secondary students IF their institution is a member of NBBA in good standing. This membership is a non-voting membership.
E. Community Ensemble Member ($100)
-Is open to community ensembles of New Brunswick. The director or a chosen designate of the ensemble will have one vote on behalf of the entire ensemble.
F. School Ensemble Member ($25)
-Is open to school ensembles of New Brunswick. The director of the ensemble will have one vote on behalf of the entire ensemble.
G. Corporate / Institution Member ($100 or in-kind donations)
-Is open to all corporations and institutions that are not individual, student or senior membership holders. This membership is a voting membership, however, only one representative of the corporation / institution may vote.

Term Details:
- All members who previously registered for an extended membership will be honoured until Mar. 31, 2024.
- An annual term runs from April 1 of the current year to March 31 of the following year.
- Reminders will be sent out beginning in February for renewal of your membership.

The NB Band Association is a provincial organization representing and supporting community and school bands, band directors, musicians, students, and all those interested in bands across New Brunswick and beyond. - The benefits chart above has been updated with dollar signs indicating direct expenditures possible for each membership type. The most noticeable impact is felt by individual members who now receive discounts at Bathurst Band Fest and its big band dance as well as other events throughout the year. Keep in mind, membership has its privileges far beyond dollar signs. Your support is important to the continued growth of our provincial association and band across NB!
- No. Students may be eligible for scholarships from NBBA to offset some of the costs of pursuing such endeavours as: National Youth Band of Canada, summer music camps, private music instruction, or music study at a post-secondary institution.
