The NB Band Association is a provincial organization representing and supporting community and school bands, band directors, students, parents, administrators, the music industry, composers, arrangers, and all those interested in bands and band music across New Brunswick and beyond. Regular Annual Membership Types & Fees are as follows (After Apr. 1, 2022):
A. Associate Member
-Occurs when an individual’s music ensemble becomes a Member (see Ensemble Membership below). This membership is a non-voting membership.
B. Individual Member ($50)
-Is open to all individuals who follow the NBBA By-Laws. This is a voting membership.
C. Individual Student Member ($30)
-Is open to all individuals who are 18 years of age or younger. If the individual is over 18 and has a valid student identification card they may also qualify. This membership is a non-voting membership.
D. Individual Senior Member ($30)
-Is open to all individuals that are 55 years of age or older. This membership is a voting membership.
E. Corporate Sponsor Member ($100+ or in-kind donations)
-Is open to all corporations or other sponsors that are not individual, student or senior membership holders. This membership is a voting membership, however, only one representative of the corporation or sponsor may vote.
F. Ensemble Member (community ensemble = $5 per member; school ensemble = free then $2 per member)
-Is open to bands of New Brunswick. The director of the ensemble may have one vote. If the director is already a member of the Board or has an Individual Membership, the director may choose a designate to vote for the ensemble. Musicians in more than one ensemble are required to pay for each ensemble in which they are an active member. Membership entitles the subscriber access to promotion, features, and communication resources of the Association.

- A professional national publication from CBA. It contains interesting articles, music reviews, spotlights from provincial chapters, stories, and inspiration offering great insight into many aspects of band. This publication is sent our twice per year.
- If you have an Individual Membership with NBBA, you are automatically a member of the national Canadian Band Association. Details can be provided about the coverage for a scheduled event. It would cover someone who injures themselves accidentally while attending your event.
- No. Students may be eligible for scholarships from NBBA to offset some of the costs of attending such endeavours as: National Youth Band of Canada, summer music camps, private music instruction, or musical study at a post-secondary institution.
