The NB Band Association is a provincial organization representing and supporting community and school bands, band directors, students, parents, administrators, the music industry, composers, arrangers, and all those interested in bands and band music across New Brunswick and beyond.

Membership Fees are as follows:
  • $40 Membership - Regular (Personal, Music Educator, Player, Conductor)
  • $25 membership - Retired [55+] or Student (High School or Post-Secondary)
  • $75 membership - Business, Institution, Music Ensemble
**If you are a school music teacher, you may want to consider having your Band Parents' Support Group pay your NBBA dues for you.

Make sure you keep your NBBA membership up to date.  Avoid missing out on member newsletters, events, scholarship opportunities and more.  NBBA Membership is an easy way to show that you value band and support its growth and development throughout the province.  Don't forget, you are automatically a member of the national-level Canadian Band Association (CBA) if you are a member of NBBA.

  • You will have access to the NBBA and CBA directory: connecting you with colleagues across NB and all of Canada for exchanges or sharing resources and a love of band.
  • You will receive Canadian Winds (twice per year):  a professional national publication from CBA.  It contains interesting articles, music reviews, spotlights from provincial chapters, stories, and inspiration offering great insight into many aspects of band.
  • The CBA provides liability insurance for NBBA members.
  • Up to 50% of registration dues will fund student scholarships.
  • Students may be eligible for scholarships from NBBA to offset some of the costs of attending such endeavours as: National Youth Band of Canada; summer music camps, private music instruction, or musical study at a post-secondary institution.
